When you’ve worked as a plumber for 20 years, you think that there’s not many other jobs you could or would want to do. While “working” I get to have coffee and chat with some of the most awesome people from all walks of life, my clients are fantastic people, the coffee machines are brilliant, easy to work and make the best cups of coffee, and the Xpresso Delight system that holds it all together is so simple yet it does every thing from online ordering, reporting , marketing and even tells you your profits for the week. We have been in business for the past 20 years involved with 4 different franchise’s from service stations to the motor industry. Kevin and I have been working towards finding a work/life balance all our working life. I worked in hospitality for 18 years doing 60+ hours per week, including shift work and knew that this wasn’t sustainable, especially with two children. Kevin studied for 4 years to be in the IT industry instead of a butcher as we thought that would give us greater financial stability and in turn make life easier. We continued looking for suitable businesses/ careers and so have tried a few businesses on our own including a Flower Farm and also direct selling.
